Residence permit
Residence permit (preparation and formation of the necessary set of documents, representation of the client’s interests in Latvia’s Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs and in other institutions) based on:
- acquisition of immovable property;
- investments in the capital of a registered company in Latvia (50 000 or 100 000 euros);
- creation and development of an innovative product;
- obtaining a residence permit for the implementation of an international project or agreement in which Latvia participates;
- commercial activity – an individual merchant, member of the board or works council, representative of a branch or representative office of a foreign enterprise, self-employed person, employment (based on an employment contract);
- education – for the period of study (after completing a master’s or doctoral program, a foreigner has the right to extend the permit for 9 months to seek employment);
- medical treatment – for the duration of the contract with the medical institution;
- based on marriage and other legal grounds for obtaining a residence permit provided for by the laws and regulations of Latvia
When receiving or after receiving a temporary residence permit in Latvia, the foreigner’s family members (minor children and spouse) will also be able to obtain a residence permit.
